Panel Management

Primo RPA Studio interface offers extensive options for personalizing the workspace.
All changes to the arrangement and state of panels are automatically saved when the application closes properly, allowing you to start each session in your familiar environment.

Basic Panel Operations

  1. Hiding and Restoring Panels

    • To hide a panel, click the × icon in the upper right corner.

    • To restore a hidden panel, use the corresponding View menu item.

Resetting Interface Settings

If you need to return to the original configuration:

  1. Use the View → Panels reset menu item.

  2. Or delete the Layouts folder in the Primo RPA Studio installation directory.

  3. Locking Panel Position

    • Click the pin icon finet2.png to disable automatic panel collapsing.
  4. Moving and Grouping

    • To move panels across the screen, grab the panel header and drag it to the desired location.
    • To detach a panel and use it as a floating window, grab the panel header and drag it outside the main Studio window.
    • To group panels as tabs, drag the panel header onto the target panel until a blue merge indicator appears, then release — the panels will be grouped into a single tab container.
  5. Context Menu

    • All basic operations are available through the context menu (right-click on the panel header).

To customize the display of buttons on the action bar and the display of sections in the main menu, click the Settings button on the action bar.

In the menu, you can click on the sections of the menu you are interested in to hide or display them:

For advanced customization of the action bar, click Customize….

In the window, you will find settings for toolbars, commands, and parameters, where you can choose the display of buttons on the action bar, commands that the buttons will execute, create new buttons for convenience, and customize the display of icons and tooltips.
